Good Morning! For those who have been in a "night's slumber", whether that be between dusk and dawn, or a season of sin, that is on the verge of a daybreak.
First, the lesson we all must learn. This is not the "hard" one mentioned in the tilte. This is the easiest of all. Never place all of your trust in any other person for guidance. We all have our frailties. And, a foreshadowing of the "theme" of the hard lesson is this. Just at the very moment when you say, "This might be real! This Jesus! The speaker will stumble, fall, crash, and the human-ness that has plagued us all, except One, as many of us take on the testimony of others and scripture, will be shewn forth.
Why, the culprit who plaques us all continues undermining the common belief that the type of "god-fearing" behavior outlined in Exodus 20, sounds nice, but is impractical. These teachings, that the unbelieving say are for a "mythical" world of perfection, one that shall never be. Yet, it is not an unrelenting Hell, at least, not yet. Collectively, we can adjust the thermostat how we like. The authors goal is cooling the turmoil and heat brought on by the seven deadlies.
Someone might see a faith that has moved mountains for everyone, in every place in this world, accept your small room. A room that needs some sunshine. A bright burst as a beacon that He loves you as much as the those who have more than you could ever dream.
Well, if you "pray the only prayer that you know, asking for wisdom and guidance, from He who create this physical universe and the Spiritual within and beyond such, He shall grant you the "blessing" that will place you in the best place for you, if your accept and believe that He can do such." This might sound "condescending" from one who has an abundance for which he could be thankful; yet, it is not.
An abundance of material wealth will not save you in this world. In fact, in certain places it might make one a target for murder and theft. It is the author's prayer that you receive more than you need, but not so much that it becomes a "curse".
With this said, someone crossed the author's mind in the early 1980s and the thought that "wealth" could buy "happiness". Yet, this was not what extended family members needed. The mention more than once, among immediate family and few others, that "a family" might see the "Seven Wonders of This World" and have more "wealth" than any family might need, occurred.
This, simply so, they could have more of what American families need. Less time working for a living; and more time living. Yet, the cost of this "meddling", and, one's naivete that money solves problems, might have disrupted a "better" path. with an equal measure of blessing, children and stability, without the "burden" of more than the "healthy region of normal".
Vegetables and peace have meant more in this author's life than a dripping Alice Copper, large potato, butter and sour cream, and a four ounce Perrier with a gaggle groupies asking "Who is that; Where does he play?" Praise the Lord that salesmanship was not my forte.
Whether resting on large storehouses of grain, struggling with a few boxes of dry goods and a working spigot, or simply a vase of flour and oil. May a peace that is not predicate on what one has or how others view you rest with on a heart that knows He might have more respect for a scavenger who does not feed unless it can find a carcass, versus the fattened who will kill a calve for a "special meal with an unique cheese".
Anyone sincere enough that they would refuse eating unless their meal had enjoyed the "full-time" of life which you yourself desire; that which time and chance, not greed and gluttony, regulates?
Now, that hard lesson. The very interrogative, often mentioned, by one who had a cursory interest in the medical profession. What brings about the states of insanity that seem so crippling and debilitating? This circa 1981 - 1987, when among the greying shanties, one with a porch-swing on rusted links, the author's late grandmother's sister said, "Boy, at the age of fourteen; you should read a Chapter of Proverbs everyday!" Not being fully in-line with the connotations of the English-terms, such as fool, in the Bible versus the everyday vernacular; these first attempts at study were a struggle.
Then, a set of life circumstances, being the Li Bo, apparently a poet who used rhymes lifted from the tongue of an intoxicated person or a famous Blaxplotation Comedian from the early 1970s who paid a heroin addict $20 a meeting for material, the author, known for his outspokenness was being chauffeured around in Grand Caravan with the imitation wood paneling, by ringlets which caught my attention, who had a cassette recorder placed under the passenger seat. Something, she or one of her doppelgangers revealed one evening.
We can only play the cards which we are dealt in our lives. Despite an endless stream of threes, fours, fives, sevens, and such; a wildcard might grace what seems like a life devoid of Trumps! No person choose his family; And, if it be that we can see those who we might unite in love; as a faint memory of the author seeing a young man and woman walking along a campus sidewalk near a college hall retells of a place before birth. And, whether factual or not, a mother saying that was how your father and I met. Did he tell you!
Those who take the toughest missions might have courage, love, and light greater than we realize. Let us look past ourselves and see someone in Cabrini Green, the slums of Brazil, where human empanadas have been sold, or those who are resting in a stainless kidney dish, a moment of regret and relief.
The moments of recording for vignettes, fifty dollars a piece for a problem unknown, the American model of competition, a desire for education, the "foolishness" of youth that abates in few Americans past the age of fifty in a country founded on"Christian"-values, the old social networks, some with a lustful terror-istic hate and the first generation of the second Antebellum of social conflict arising from the establishment of chattle slavery, its sins, its economic increase, and the "unwanted" legacy, of humans and the ties of blood, water, and a common "thumpish-pattering" that happens, at the most unfortunate of times.
The competition that has not "lessened" among friends who never were; friends who do not care about themselves enough that they would walk away from the simplest of sins, those that have become addictions, resulting in this medicine of that, at nearly fifty.
And, a conclusion that a trek "unwanted, yet valued" has taught; a lesson some students never learn. Read. Read. Read. Those daily Proverbs, the Old Testament, the NewTestament, the many sincere interpretations available for those who seek a view differing from theirs, would have provided the answer in short order.
What are the wages of sin? Sickness, upon my first reading, after the onset of fornicative sin, death! And, what do your scriptures say? It can get much worse than you are experiencing; whatever it might be, please get up!
Next, what is the source of this sin? Is it one's own? Met any blind men in scripture? Or,was it the men left at the temple begging alms that Peter met or one His Lord's sheep that He Himself met at a place called Beautiful. Could it have been that someone placed in each of these men's minds the "firmly, fixed" notion that they would never rise again, begging for a coin or reaching some special location at a unique time for healing is the best that they might ever do. When the "gold and sliver" that Peter handed the halt man, gave him a wealth for furthering his existence, beyond the many bowls of oatmeal that a vault of farthings could help the most miserable of orphans travel farthings, furthering a life, nearly aborted by a poverty that still plague some of the wealthiest, developed nations on this earth. Was it Elijah's fear of Jezebel, after calling the Lord's Fire upon water-soaked stones, wood, and bullock-pieces, plus, the subsequent slaying four hundred grown men? Yes, old Elijah felt fear and doubted that the Lord would provided the expected deliverance. Do not feel condemned, the best of those among us make mistakes and doubt that the end He determines will be what we will choose or free from excessive trouble and strife. Was it a King David, his lust and adulterous ways, exceeding those "unfaithful thoughts and heart" which plague many married men? This was only worsened by the "nearly-secret" murder of Uriah. Was it Hagar's abandonment of her child, who keep crying for water that she could not provide. Young lady, your latter generations might contain a set of princely young men; that seem so far from removed from the desert barren place, in which you find yourself. This sin of "unbelief" that one will not reach a place of rest, when a heart is still beating, air is still in your lungs, and, at least, one more step is in your legs.
In summary, the hard lesson learned is that the penalty of sin arises from the sins of one's' self, others, or simply so the Lord might be gloried. This might be for any single reason stated in the previous sentence or a combination, thereof. And, reading thoroughly as a youth might have spared me some turmoil. Yet, it truly has been a dream, whose beauty the author would pray be experienced by my worse human enemy; and whose trouble he would not ask upon satan himself.
And, truth be told, if the author had heard wisdom, concerning modern medicine in his early teens and these incurable illnesses of "mind, heart, and soul", the questions the Lord posed would have only grew more challenge. He is a Wonderful Teacher.
For those encouraged by the above; with many words sin is ever-present; so, please stop reading.
May The Life Led In Unwavering Faith See A Reward In Proportion With The Wickedness Besetting It.
PS Being among secular television sets and running like a chattle slave seeking Canada, before the establishment of the Underground Railroad, and Grandma Moses guidance, the residue of influence left by pornographic media induces confusion and memory loss. So, pardon the typos that invert meaning. Remember:
[Psa 71:1 KJV] 1 In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
[1Co 14:33 KJV] 33 For God is not [the author] of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
And, forgive the abstract leap in reasoning, but the portals which show "sin", albeit, regular network broadcasting can induce "memory-loss" for the strangest reason. And, do not get me started on the nature of the greater depths of sin. So, with this said; Those accused, be wise and run from "wicked" media.
For those, who enjoy "living a life of wickedness" more than the feeling those "God-fearing" thoughts of righteousness that, eventually, free one. Keep reading; In fact, read the next passage over and over, at least, until a light frothing occurs on your lips.
The next portion flows from the "loathing" for the stupidity present in every part of modern America, from the foundation of "nuclear" homes and the very pinnacle of the seats of federal power. It comes from the "anger" that, whether just or unjust, arises at the "wickedness" that could be immediately addressed, without the use of prayer, and that cliche "may your lack be met".
Seeing a murders world is an ugly change, yet mubbling does not last forever! Ecclesiastes 3 (KJV) [Key Verse: 3]
For those who feel a treasure trove of sexual mementos and tales of bravado, drinking, and flexing twenty-four inch biceps is the measure of manhood past the stupidity of one's Americanized teens.
Would you endure such world for the protection of a community that is "rotting from within"? For swines wallowing in their slop and dogs lapping up the vomit, simply for their pleasure? Would you tolerate such an ugly experience getting "sin" off the streets that your future, your children play on? Would you deal with this unpleasantness halting the advance of the local pornographer?
So, before you high-step over the foolish badge of "sexual exploits", its presumed virility and machismo, at an age ten or so years beyond that of the legal age of maturity, the author prays that you get the taste of a "cold-blooded" murder's world. His world before it was resolved through the resolution of over three decades of negotiated testimonies as meet in the "protection" of more men than the one harmed; one who might have been an accessory in his own demise.
As for the fellows at the shelter who know the presumed "human-strength" that a twisted-hand signal brings, the signal that the author shew forth is the one that, eventually, twists your hand so [Proverbs 6], and a "tap" will help you see "the light" in ways that a silly punch shall not.
This is not the very Light that you have seen on the Earth for your thirty or so years. Young men, at your age, are capable of accepting the eternal fate that those half of your age have been dealt for their "wickedness".
For the same tenor of intelligence governing this city, state, and country; war is not a game; it should not be for profit or boasting about who is the "greatest" among brothers, who should know the harmony of those days within the early Christian church.
.
And, as shared with a liaison at the local university who addresses issues of better healthcare, the letter sent was mostly received by a secretary, and a fact known since a bowl of porridge cost someone, wading in water for days, his life; we will betray each for the most "petty" of rewards.
This should place the period at the very end of the statement on the power of a small metal sword.
So, lock this in your satchel for future reference:
[Mat 27:20, 24-26 KJV] 20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. ... 24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but [that] rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed [his] hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye [to it]. 25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood [be] on us, and on our children. 26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered [him] to be crucified.
[Exo 23:7 KJV] 7 Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.
This community request the presence of Barabbas, well before 1984; he was granted, the leader of a murderous insurrection; Yet, for those many meek, who would not trap a grasshopper, crushing it without a path for escape, they have seen a slow euthanasia and genocide, and those who prize the luster of gold more than the glow of a child's eye, albeit their own seed; their trophies, include the "profits" from the cycle induced by 9.11.2001 at WTC, NYC.
And, one, who would not feel a sadistic rush from cornering a locust and killing it, has seen a "mubbling" most cannot withstand while surviving among the "adults in America" and travelling more than the required second mile, losing more than his second coat, and feeling more than a couple of unjust hits. So, this is the "cheek-turn" commanded by a human at the shelter, who lacks sufficient faith that they could pay the penalty for a debt greater than mine.
As short note for the Git-Mo crowd, on the topic of the effect of sinful media:
For the police and military units that might use such a knowledge for condemning those you "hate", without a concern for His Justice, but for the immediate reward of wealth, may a curse befall you, in your short-sighted use of "tools" for forcing an incarceration or testimony from the innocent, that takes the "blessings" your righteous foreparents, with prayers of mercy for their offspring and those unjustly abused in their era, have stored for centuries, and place these blessings in the purses, holding a measure of the Holy Ghost's fruits for the families that you have hurt, one generation for each assault, be it pill, foulness forced upon them, wicked speech among men who would not speak such, or barrage of sinful media. Enjoy it! OPD-CIA small-time clique.
On a touch never requested:
So, seeing that the unwanted "handshake" of the Spring of 1984, reminded me of a couple more that resulted in the author arrive at the very moment that they occurred. Truth be told, the author is not interested in walking that "long-past" path again. Past days, are that, the presents of the beauty of this day are for those who have had the least of all His children. Yea, those whose fate puzzled Carlton Pierson. "Why?", said Solomon, "am I so blest, when he struggles so with a burden;". Could a loyal servant of the Lord, rest his burden, if it be the Lord's Will? And, the future, only a Trinity, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient, holds the very paths, for those in the physical and spiritual, setting a flow and timing of events, whose "soul-purpose" is Salvation and His Glory.
With such being an ever-present hope of many and the author, his chosen goal is His Will realization, and the Final Eternal Exclamation of His Glory, a Punctuation and a Prefixing of a Command of Promised Rest, Peace, Joy, Love, and Harmony, when the wicked cease from troubling.
May Blessings Continue; Sunshine and Rain, for Those Needing It Most, First; and, His Righteous Second..
