In the America of the modern age, not a single applicable law, trumps Galatian 5:18-13. Yet, many "de-facto" laws exist in a country which argues "the prayer in school issue", when prayers need not be spoken. What could the true issue "possibly be". An issue of religious conformance. If one does ever pray, it must be this corporate prayer. And, then the next step, is if one does ever "speak" with the Lord internally, one must believe this, pray this, fell this, and say this....Many argue over whether praying at 9:00 A.M., 12:00 A.M., and 3:00 P.M. is a sign of participating in an "unrespectable", "unsavory", or "terroristic-faith" with an "oppressive history of violence", yet the New Testament Epistle's of Paul, that many of the five largest faiths consider of "immeasurable-able value", states that one should pray, commune with God, without ceasing.
Please forgive, some of the erratic "web-posts" not befitting the "intended tenor" of a "web-log" concerning "God-fearing" faith. The author was living amongst a small community, in which, he was not wanted. Mostly likely, this was the result of a regular stream of Gospel music, and the audible misbehavior of neighboring "units". In that, the author is not a man of substantial means, nor seeing what "wealth attracts in this world", the accumulation of those silos, storehouses, of grain described in Luke 12:14-34 [KJV] leave me with very little interest in chasing the senseless rewards of this life!
Most psychologist know how one builds a profile and for this sole statement of "faith-alone", many wolves among the sheep in various churches shall chase, pursue, cripple, and devour the fat mutton in their midst. Wealth trumps faith in a country with an economy driven more by the exchange and acquisition of "mena" than the "spiritual" refinement of mankind and the communities, which we compose.
And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.
And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, [and] be merry.
But God said unto him, [Thou] fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
So [is] he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
The life is more than meat, and the body [is more] than raiment.
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more [will he clothe] you, O ye of little faith?
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
This lesson of America's ever-present and over-omninous lust for a never-ending "stream" of wealth, became brutally apparent over the past few months. After being driven from an apartment unit by constant running water, during "well-known" periods of rest, and growing weary of the numerous "hints" that the author's employer did not value, appreciate, or want him among her staff, he simply left. He decided that he should finally learn the most important lesson this life shall ever teach:
"Simply get up and walk away from any unfruitful relationship, in which one is not respected or treated with any equity or decency, without worrying about of the cost."
This should be done without concern for one's "long-term" fate, unless one is responsible for the care of others whom are minors and might be left unattended with an irresponsible adult. Yet, often being called a "dog", the author's greatest flaw claimed by others is his loyalty. Not intending any disrespect for the person whom last made this observation, the plucking of ambition feathers was not needed. They simply needed "bathing and dusting".
And, learning about another "de-facto" law of American culture, driven by those who value satan's rewards more than the joy of a "God-fearing" life, non-profit charitable organizations, outside the realm of some churches, should not be in existence. If mankind followed faith with the "passion" that consumes them while in search for monetary-gain or other carnal pleasures, then United Way and any organization under its umbrella would not be needed. This should be what the "high-brow" logician calls a "vacuous proof".
And. most will accept "certain statements" and close their ears, eyes, minds, and hearts, when a term of academic origin arises. Yet, it might be used for a reason. And, asking its purpose and checking a reference for its meaning, should not be humiliating, but enlightening. It is simply part of "normal" communication". And, many seek training not for self-enrichment, but for the meeting of "God-focused" goals, dare the author say, for the growth of His Community. And, the wolves among us will argue based upon:
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, [shall he] not much more [clothe] you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
that Jesus Christ's profession, carpentry, was a completely "unneeded" field or sign of a "non-divine" nature. Currently the author's personal fight, is likely based in the statement that the minimum "we" are truly promised in Christian scripture is "clothing and food". It is a "ever-present, never-ending" struggle of every Christian, that our battle is not with the other humans on this Earth, nor the other "societies of animal-life" that were created during the first few passages of Genesis, but with those forces of wickedness in high places. Despite, the epitaphs and non-stop stream of dispersion thrown with violent vehemence, this is the behavior of men who cannot appreciate or value the "spiritual discernment" described in 1 Colossions 2:14 [KJV]. Yet, this world is overrun with "natural, wildly-developed" men.
On the topic of what this minimum is, one must also consider Luke 11:11-14 [KJV]
If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if [he ask] a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
We can reason that, if our own father's will give us "good" gifts in the midst of their "fragile" fleshly nature, then how much more will the Lord give us not only the Holy Ghost, but what he feels is "meet" for our position, in His community, and how we might help those sheep amongst us. Yet, seeing the wolves and not following them has always been a challenge.
And, he teaches us lessons that take a little study discerning from His Word. Forgive me, the last few days have been somewhat of a challenge, so with this next assertion the author asks that you search through the scripture and find it, based upon the instruction in Second Timothy 2 :15 and 1 John 2:27, please read a few translations of the latter verse, its interpretation can vary drastically based upon the wording.
Christ's words coupled with a few proverbs, support the lesson which the author states is a quite "difficult pill", the human equivalent of a mixture of a "lethal and hallucinogenic" drugs. Christ stated that, "we should meet the needs of any person who truly needs it; this instead of simply offering prayer. Yet, he said, when we read a little farther in this passage or proverbs, that we should wisely discern if this is a genuine need."
Blessing and curses, how we view our live's immediate personal situation will either bring us joy, albeit arising out of a tempest of emotions, or keep up us in a state of despair.
Forgive the author, if this "web-log" describes his life's situation more so than the Lord's Majesty. Might He grant me a stone that levels a flock of bird's at a time, a playmate from the late-1970s, claimed that his earthly father believed that money makes the Earth rotate, yet, if ever questioned by an attorney, he said, that "[it] makes the world go round." My loud response was, "No, love makes the world go round."And, my intention was that, "No, Agape Love makes His Kingdom abound."
Often, when we communicate, our assumptions and intentions, mar our hearing and responses. If he can forgive a statement in a public forum about someone whom few could discern, he was dealing with every child's greatest fear, the loss of a parent, the longing for the resolution of irreconcilable differences, and finding a reunion. One which might occur or might not. Yet, only the Lord knows what is best, seeing that He is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient, this is a lesson that many "mature" adults, well over eighty, must learn.
Although many of these wolves among us, exert their "free-will" against the true Will of the Lord. Seeing that we are not the three divine-Omni's, pardon the "casual" abbreviation, let us simply accept what we can change through prayer, petition, and faith-based action, accept those situations that the Lord has not fully resolved and might not in our present times, and with as much poise and humility that we can muster, accept these differences until His Kingdom comes and all is resolved.
And, for those who feel so strongly about Saint Francis of Assisi's prayer and the encouragement that it has granted, please do not "curse" me with prayers claiming that the author is an unrepentant heretic. For Proverbs 26:2 says that an "undeserved curse never settles" and has many translations' one being:
Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest. [Pro 26:2 NIV]
For one never knows another's circumstance and the judgement that we pass in our "headlong" prayers, especially, without a sincere study of scriptures whom we might share, could cause a curse that does not land upon the one whom you despise. It might travel for many centuries looking for one whom is deserving of the "harm" intended for a person "innocent" of the accusations. So, for those "curses" sent the way of the author for statements, that might have seemed inappropriate or actions that seem highly wicked. Not knowing another's circumstances, the full-extent of the facts, let us pray may these "curses" be broken, if they are undeserved. And may they settle upon the author, if he deserves them. Let us forgive our "myopic-hatred".
Back on the topic of the "fine nuances" of what "is" is. "Does money make the world go around?" Is that the motion of mankind's actions, based upon the Biblical definition of worldliness? In this case, the chase of wealth and the numerous wars, battles, skirmishes, fights, riots, and insurrections that result, occasionally years after the original offense, this statement is true and one's Father must be a common One.
If this statement was motivated by the "above-mentioned" search for "wealth-untold", then one's father, not necessarily, his earthly one is the mixture of those forces of wicked with which we all wage war, including the parents that we, respectively, had in the 1970s. And, we all know the "non-stop" chaos caused by the slightest inclination or suggestion , whether intended or not, that another's family has more than one's own. And, this in any quality of "seeming-value", especially in the mind. eyes. and hearts of children can cause fights, whose damage reverberate for numerous generations.. And, the mature adults among us must admit that this is a common situation that does not resolve itself as we age. And, this can get worse when we reach that season of life, at which our "child-like" and "child-ish" traits from early year's resurface.
And, next does, "Agape Love make His Kingdom revolve."? Your answer is your own. Keep it near your heart; for it can cost you the entirety of your earthly possessions and life. Hoards of swine and ravenous dogs exist in this world with shaggy coats of wild-hair. Stop and review some of the previous statements. This is not a scathing rebuke of that childhood playmate.
During one of the last remembered sightings with his sibling, and possibly, a relative, she mentioned that "the author simply spends and never saves" it will eventually run out. In defense, he must mention that any savings account in this world motivated by "greed" is the equivalent of a sieve holding pulverized-wheat.
Businessmen, including bankers, can be ruthless and dishonest. Also, a Heavenly Father, as with any "earthly" father who is as "wise" as those in Luke 11:11-13 (KJV), will give his children "good gifts". If they are ripped away by the more violent among us, when one has "concern for those who feign need, more so, than have need", the child will acquire a lesson that will reverberate for eternity. Yet, it has already been quite "well-stated" by Christ. Nothing new exists under this Sun.
And, based upon my current personal situation, something told by many within the local business community and professional among its social service organizations, many shelters can be a roaming ground for those who "feign" this need. As told, by a former employer who offered a size-able salary, "it is never enough." And, considering these verse in Ecclesiastes,
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all [is] vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
[One] generation passeth away, and [another] generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea [is] not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
All things [are] full of labour; man cannot utter [it]: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun.
Is there [any] thing whereof it may be said, See, this [is] new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
[There is] no remembrance of former [things]; neither shall there be [any] remembrance of [things] that are to come with [those] that shall come after.
Ecclesiates 1:1-11 [KJV]
Based upon the author's life's circumstances, he was quite correct and likely saved the author's life, providing an opportunity of seeing experiences in graduate school and a decade's worth of "volunteer-service" work in many churches, albeit none are perfect.
And, considering the statement made by my 1970s playmate's acquaintance, when last seen, it can exhaust itself, if not taken by the violent amongst us, thieve and hooligan. These are not, as powerful as, the banking networks, spawned in greed, especially in a day of electronic transactions, when an account can be drained by members of the internal software engineering teams without being tracked, but the fraud conducted, by those "untrained" in the "fineries and nuances" of banking systems are regularly caught, using the "tracking mechanisms" available in modern computing networks.
These same "mechanisms" are seemingly "lost", when the "inner circle" of a banking corporation's development team are accused of fraud. Wealth gotten by "ill-gotten" gain is not sustainable. Plus, that acquired properly can be taken by force. So, placing one's hope in the size of one's bank account is not wise. Although, the vast majority of Americans do and would not openly say so.
The last few years of volunteering, supporting, and, by "chance", arriving at that location, resulted in a view of a "unique" cooperative dynamic, as told by a local businessperson and a father who worked among social service agencies, these organizations have a "profit-focus", being labelled as a racket, by the former. Many of those who roam around the shelter do not need housing with its walls; they might simply "hang-out" during the days and take from strangers, who directly give them clothing, food, and shoes. While this shelter made the author remember the "statement" that its founder lives, or has lived, the life of a rather wealthy person in a resort state, where an acquaintance who is a former businessperson also has a lavish retirement home, by the standards of most Americans. And, those who really are "not in need" will try taking every last possession, from anyone arriving in the shelter, who will discard what they cannot carry with them, as they try "re-establishing" their lives.
Ironically, while volunteering on a Friday, a resident working and residing in relatively "new" high-quality housing units made a disturbing statement while watching the account of the "drug-induced" death of a famous singer and her daughter. While working, the author, releasing a few actions from his right-hand, purchased lots of new bar soap from a local dollar store. At least, fifty-dollars were spent at each store run for soap plus gallons of bleach, pine cleaner, and more, when purchased on a regular basis. Until he heard a dock-clerk asks where he should put the "store-returns", after one drop of "post-winter" thermal-knits. These cost reaching nearly one hundred dollars. The lady, in these new units said, she did not know why anyone would be so concerned about another person's life.
Not being one with a "hateful-mindset", seeing that she was a member of a social group other than the singer, my first assumption was that she was "bitterly" saying, from her life's difficult experiences, why would anyone be concerned about her? But, it dawned upon me that she might have enjoyed seeing the fall of an entertainer, possibly, arising from racial-hatred. And, it simply might have been the result of the American struggle for wealth. She might enjoy seeing every "star's" fall which airs on television.
Yet, from the experience of my last few days and the level of aggression amongst shelter residents and staff members, directed at the author that arose when genuine honesty stated that my fuel tank was low, my funds were short, and the author is a "man" near fifty, who really has never had an interest in fornication and has been chaste for much of his adult life was alarming. So, the statement proven true by Matthew 7:6 [KJV] holds this day. May the Lord be True and every man be a liar!
Pardon, the digression, but an experience stemming from the early 1990s, when staying briefly in the best managed shelter in this area for its abbreviated, temporary half-month's stay, which the "homeless" would extend for a whole month, if someone found employment, re-entered my mind. A tall woman standing nearly "seventy-three" inches tall and "out-weighing" me asked for a few of my chocolate donuts that the author had bought, with funds from the employment that he found.
A few days later she asked for the rest of his gallon of milk, remaining. He shared. A couple of year's later, he thought about volunteering at the shelter, after a long-needed vacation. This arose from over a year's worth of data processing employment with its common fifty-plus hour weeks, without any rest besides weekends. And, in all honesty, these should have been spent in church. This likely would have provided the needed life's redirection, yet looking for a "sounding board", he sought a "co-worker", whom would tolerate the "blah, blah, and blah".
Well, once again, this large woman was at the shelter and when seen, she asked the author for five dollars, he did not have it in his wallet or he might have given it. She became incredibly aggressive and put her hands on him. He tolerated the "forcefulness". Who intervened, a "co-worker" standing under five feet and four inches, weighing about a hundred and twenty pounds. All she said was, "[large woman's name] if you do not stop that, you will lose your housing.". The aggressor stopped, immediately.
It was this single power that stayed the "ugly behavior of the large woman". The author's life and struggles have been somewhat a part of what was leading an attempt at improving the state of social service agencies from an internal perspective. This is quite difficult. It is like a sincere-Christian, -Hebrew, -Muslim, -Hindu, -Bhuddist, or any man, whose life's goal is meeting the "ideals" for a harmonious community on this Earth and an attainment of the "highest peaceful" standard of living, entering an "organized" crime ring, hoping that he can quell the dysfunctions present in the life of all humans, since the fall of mankind.
This last statement will likely be unacceptable for some, based on the faith categories listed. Please, do not completely shut your ears. Some say "peace" is unattainable, yet it should be a goal we strive after. Remember who we fight against. the entity is not "cage-able" or "bind-able" by physical means. So being a relative of a retired "social worker", who was considering taking a reduction in income so he might work as the director of social services at a local county hospital that has seen horribly dysfunctions, since the 1970s based upon my recollections.
Being that the family lifestyle did not necessitate the mentioned salary, a concern for a father's decrease in income was not critical. As, it has so happened, the author's misfortune has resulted in some improvement. For one, his first stay, the result of a horrific accident and unfortunate living circumstances, placed him in a ward, where a nurse shared that a young woman who had "catatonic states", had been in the facility for over half a year and was over four months pregnant. And, one of the male clients' unforgettable statements was, "that is fun, if you do not get caught".
The outcome of this stay, when the ward was a mixture of female and male clients in small dark rooms with a pair of cots, was a partitioning of the male and female clients, plus the addition of exercise equipment for expending the stresses one might feel when facing a personal situation that has not resolved itself, and a television and radio for "healthy distractions". Unfortunately, the "top-quality" personnel, in any field, especially one with "higher than average starting compensation" and a small pool of available "trained" workers, is often lacking. So, indiscretions still have been seen on future visits, especially, in terms, of allowed media viewing and listening. All of mankind are works in process.
And, the most "irritating" portion of the last experience was the types of connections that cross bloodlines, in this world that effects its social and economic direction. Words and aspirations travel. Saying, "would not it be wonderful, if every town had a center for new residents that explained the critical tasks, a list of the many large and medium-sized stores for food, clothes, and etc, plus a listing of housing options for all-income levels, employment opportunities, plus sources of "faith-activity" and communities" might produce such a community center. Yet, great beginnings do not always have the most "fabulous" of endings, and on occasion, they can be horrible.
And, the knowledge that the author's life, its experiences, and desire that it improves, at least, in a small way the "world" which is here, he stated that those in shelters with a long history of frequent apartment evictions, homelessness, transience, and indigence, should have "long-term" housing that makes the saving of that between a three and eight month buffer of expenses, that financial experts recommend, possible. With the assistance of "honest" conservators, who are as few and far between as double suns seen from the earth's sky, such citizen's, who struggle with apartment evictions, could maintain stable housing, with "reliable" employment. Or, this is an hypothesis.
Social connections and the power of "an idea" that has been frequently tried, occasionally, with "great success" or "glaring failure" might have generated these units, at a shelter which will not garner "my endorsement" or "willing donation" again. Such a unit was not sought by the author, they are "likely" earned and for the "long-term" or "frequent residents".
A spot on the street was "fine". The only other time, that this place was used "well-over" a year ago was when the author's first contract offer on a home fell through and his "social living" arrangement dissolved. He noticed that some residents would wake him immediately when he fell asleep. Needing sleep for his "fifty-plus" hour work week, he slept in his car. This lasted approximately a couple of weeks, before finding the first apartment that he ever lost, when he left a "work-relationship", in which, he was not respected. The only other lease broken, without paying a termination agreement, was one month before the lease's end, in units that accepted section eight, and charged him more in "the lease payments that he made" for his unit than other non-section eight clients, for a comparable unit. Every other "lease-exit" met any negotiated "lease-termination" agreement.
In light of this, the typical approach of social service workers is that every client is "intentionally deceptive and dishonest", when many of them were in the same situations. Being "trustees" in the equivalent of an economic prison for those who actually need a shelter for establishing employment and housing, they have very little tolerance for any of those who seek assistance. As stated by an old co-worker, those who enter shelters more than once are called "repeated offenders". It seemed a cruel statement, at the time, considering the author's perspective and life's experiences. Often, when it rains it pours, this is a Spring-time, in the midst of an Autumn, once more. And, some parts of this world have season of downpours lasting months. Such times produce the thicket of a rain forest with all the associated "life-forms'. Yet, some have behavioral dysfunctions that are not "acceptable" for any. Yet, others have a behavioral "dysfunctions" by exceeding the "norm" in a positive direction, but, this is "unacceptable" for certain members of society.
Many do not like the author speaking of his right-hand and its works that many find "offensive and unacceptable", they claim that they are "prideful" boast. If merited, let the author's fall cometh. These are only mentioned, in hopes of showing the those with "unfairly bestowed" social labels, being it a "frightening" medical diagnosis or social category, based upon race, creed, religion, nationality or other standing, be considered worthwhile.
At least, if they say that they or some of those among them might merit the respect of others, and have some "tangible value" for the world community, a community that might not want them based upon that label, they are "ridiculed". Delicate pink roses grow among thorns. Yet, after working at the shelter kitchen on a few occasions, starting on Thanksgiving of 1998, he noticed that the quality of the food was extremely low. Most meals, outside of holidays, were a "crude" goulash, pudding or jello, a few vegetables, plus rolls and milk. Forgive more for saying this, since my personal records are missing after my swift exist from the author's last living situation.
But, the author wrote a local international food supplier, asking if it could supply a few better options. Looking at the local supermarkets oversupply of frozen dinners, meals, and other items within their food lines, and the product "shrinkage" plus the "well-known" fact that most manufactures have about ten percent waste from undelivered products. The author asked, if they could share with the clients of the local shelter. Being a person who prejudges as all mankind does, my assumption, before seeing my first meal, during this last visit, and knowing the nature of the "donation handling", was that the residents were not "well-nourished". This hasty decision brought forth a mouth full of "wet-shoe". The meals were much better. But, who divides us?
Deep seated hatreds rarely subside, the nature of the dislike and distrust can be inter-family, be it immediate of extended, or between individuals who would never consider another person family, or a descendant of the Adam of Genesis, and most likely would view that person as apart of a lesser "human" group.
Yet, in light of the author's experience, being considered an easy mark for robbery, overly generous, by those who will smile and show kindness, when something is sought, yet scoff, belittle, and degrade a "person", when one has exhausted all the resources that he can give. In what category, does this place one? Be honest about others and yourself. The first step for recovery is accepting that one has a problem. If the social service entity that might have given the residents a long-term housing option for "building" a savings buffer or the "food" supplier decides that they might pull support, please be prayerful about the decision.
It might put someone who really cannot "adjust" how they respond, when they meet those who persist in kindness, as long as, they can take all the possessions of the kind and his very life, when he has exhausted the "economic sap" that provides the means for growing one's personal money-tree, albeit modest and "well-shaped", in a "extremely defensive" position.
In the author's life, he has rarely "grossly" insulted those who have "genuinely" assisted him. And, one "insult" can be "so" hurtful that it is never forgiven. And, the "touchy subject" of social stratification, those entering a place which one feels others do not merit and the personal desire that, others whom have not had your struggles, especially, those who value the very life advice that you have always known, yet have not always heeded, while realizing the "painful" consequences, feel the "full-brunt" of your reality and more, for simply showing compassion.
Bad experiences, in such places, had by one or their family members might be the reason that some give the residents of such places a "haughty" look and insulting alms, such a "pastries and clothing", some that might contain poisons.
Yet, some lessons, learned from the simple skill of asked about another's successful skills, is that Thrift stores are some the most successful businesses, among non-profit organizations. And, that a small shopping area might have an anchor site, one whose fees covers the entire cost of the building, which might be purchasable, within a decade. Being that experience has seen, at least one "dwindling grocery store" chain have it's unwanted buildings purchased with"grants" for the use of a "profit:non-profit" network, collecting donated items that one can place on shelves, until they are sold, is a quite profitable venture. This is quite true, if those are new quality products.
The experience of being robbed and physically struck, by, albeit a smaller person, left the author livid. This is why some "professionals" say some clients cannot be helped. They never "Adjust", walking away from that lifestyle of an "aggressive" and "deceptive" hustle. As stated earlier, giving a person a very small amount of "money" and seeing, if it is well-handled and repaid, is the "first-step", in reforming a "hustling lifestyle". If a small debt remains unpaid or a requested loan is never repaid, then terminating any future relationship, especially one which elevates a person "well-beyond" a position that life's circumstances permit, is wise.
The most "paranoid of interpretations" of a statement, made while under duress, resulted in a claimed offense. This was simply a ploy for taking the small portion of means remaining. The most value of what remains, is a burnt portion of a gold or sliver note, earned by an ancestor which spent many years working in the heat of the Jim Crow South, who earned it through a hardship, that only a true mother might know, feeding her family, so they might work instead of herself. She found herself eating "bacon-drippings" from a charred skillet at the end of the work-week. This from an extreme hunger. This legacy was told by a mother with her own fallibility, yet from the tall, thin photos of a woman who stood about five-eleven and weighed about a hundred and fifteen pounds, seemed strong supporting evidence for the parental lesson.
Considering those in urban areas, hustle with extreme, so life might be manage-able, accepting "help" from another, without becoming so incredibly aggressive, that it destroys those who care about many whom feel mistreated, misused, and maligned is unwise. This statement could be said with the ugliest of hateful words, belittling those who used a simple and obviously misunderstood statement for justifying an attack on one who funds were nearly exhausted.
This is one reason that the author has not only made blasphemous statements in his late teens. It seems that few are sincerely interested in a disciplined pursuit of faith. We might follow some of the simplest rules and resolve problems that, this life has seen cause the worst of disasters. Prayer works wonders; but taking a timely action with a step of His Love, can resolve a revolution before it occurs.
It seems that few, if any are serious in a world that needs serious God-fearing men, women, and children. My conclusion after life's fall and sudden down-spiral, was that these dysfunctions were the result of mankind, being deceived by satan and not seeking scripture for "strategies" that "help us survive" in El-Shaddai's Kingdom. So, satan and humans will never much change. it is "unrepentative" through eons untold. This seems unwise. The author has often said, "That he would not wish such a "death sentence" diagnosis as his on anyone!" Yet, satan is deserving of the full-brunt of it. These behavioral dysfunctions are delivered solely by him. The wages of sin are sickness. Although, scriptures might sound or read different, based upon one set of verses,
[Mar 4:12 KJV] 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them.
So seek the truth with all your heart, without concern for the cost....
[Heb 11:6 KJV] 6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him]: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
May Your Week Be Blessed.
