Baby Ruth, Anyone?

The strangest thought crossed "the author's" mind, if such is permitted. Although, the author has been working on a technical, software engineering website, that might make some feel that he is "well-heeled". This is not the case; appearances can be "misleading", and not necessarily intentionally, so!


Well, after an evening of "wondering" how limited resources might be best spent, a stop a local Walgreen's resulting in a purchase of a "Baby Ruth" chocolate bar. And, in this mere "brand-name", out-popped, a Biblical insight that "stunned" and "excited" me.


Based up what the author has been total about Hebrew lineage, it is matrilineal. Other groups are patrilineal. Remember the Book of Ruth. History does not provide any recorded evidence in the canonized scripture of her life after Haman was hung high in the gallows. Did she birth a prince by her king. Ask, Sarah's handmaid, who one or more, of those the Lord promised her, the she might have never "truly" believed would arrive. This should shed some light on this world current chaos. When does one cease being Jewish by lineage? And, we, the Christians forever claim, the we shall bless the Lord's chosen. This he says brings His chosen blessing. Who you know one if you saw one; if this is a basis for determination. Would they know what the origins of their nationalities be. It might be within a group the hate beyond imagination.


This would require greater study for those who "really" would be interested in resolving the greatest threat for humanity! So, this is another assignment, if you chose, who among you is a descendant of a lineage of Hebrew women, based upon, a matrilineal definition. Visiting Genesis would answer this for some.


So forgive him, if the author enjoys a plate a vegetables. Is this such a crime? It does not mean that he is joining another nationality or group, or, forgotten a knowledge of his heritage, that is near or far.


Labels, mean very little. What does friend mean? When it is someone who always betrays others, including himself.


Would one accept financial advice from the "wealthiest businessmen"? Remember James, Yeshua's sibling. It will take some reading sorting those statements out. Start by reading the book with his name attached.


The author, at least, once heard a sermon that he did not appreciate. It sounded like a non-stop "hoop and holla" session that certain classes of preacher, teachers or leaders, are stereotypically famous for. The author is "unassuming", but does not appear so.


And, a "well-read" man among my church said, "it is the litany". Had the author understood the message; he would have been shouting along with everyone else.


Certainly, Saul, named Paul, would adjust accordingly. It can be quite a pleasure working among any sincere "faith-group". Whether silence, a shout, a clap of appreciation, a song sung acapella, or with any accompaniment acceptable for the congregation, show fervent praise, making such a transition so one might labour among those with kindred hearts is not a betrayal of one's original identity. 


Are, we all more than a simple label contrived by man. Christian scripture says we all have a "unique name".


When read in scripture, the author could appreciate at the litany. He did not recognize it, while hearing the sermon.


This is much like the "religious lyrics" with non-traditional "music" often arising from a secular origin. In fact, much of the "stiff" music heard in churches, where making a "peep" during service would bring upon a child a pinch, was part of the "populous" music over many centuries before this. This includes that of the upper classes and commoners. Few men lived in the middle-classes. So, within a musical theme found among a famous choral, one might find a few notes or influence of troubadours from that time.


Such is the equivalent of hearing, forgive this comment, if it seems "sinful" for this web history, Herbie Hancock's cover of a Curt Cobain's single, that received limited air play. The combining of secular "class" with "baseness".


In the realm of Christian music, this would be the same as Kurt Franklin's remaking of a "classic" Watts hymn, with samples from popular secular music rifts emphasizing lyrical themes. The music and the lyric are divorced. It is the same as a book's cover and its contents.


So, based upon the comments of the current war which wages for some, what group would kill those it claims that it reveres?


A final note, on life, that might be unknown for some and others. Certain characteristic life are invisible for those who live differently. Reversal is not impossible; it is simply, difficult; Yet, He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.


In terms of living, most, of us past forty, know the great wisdom in eating less flesh, not drinking soft drinks, avoiding alcohol, and other harmful substances. And, we are "hated" by those who did not make the same "decisions".


As shared many times, weight loss is achieve-able by increasing a periodic "fast-cycle".  Having a first meal at noon, then stopping sensible eating near seven-thirty or earlier, every other day, can result in drastic weight loss; however one should discuss this with a "trusted" medical physician. Especially one, who has a "better" physique than you, especially, if it is a woman. Forgive the stereotype; but, most stereotypes are based upon other perceptions. From the perspective of a man, who woman frequently "run-over" and call a whimp, social aspects of being overweight, the competition for employment arising from "flirts", with attractive "physical traits", the barrage of insults from children, youth, and adults whom might have more girth than you before all is said and done, can be overwhelming, unbearable, and a nuisance. So, forgive this "shallow" stereotype.


And for the "hoop and holla" pastors of yore, a lynching might result from a public message unacceptable by some.


One can "wisely" wean himself from many addictions. Prayer is the first step. Then, wise behaviors follow. Praying for something, then, not sincerely pursuing it shows one's level of interest.


This is quite true for an addiction that has not been practiced for many years. The rate of relapse is greater when placed among a "symbol" of a past addictions that has a course lasting for a decade of more. This is why some, resting in a "fallen", hate those offering encouragement, so. With this said, it might sound inhumane, uncompassionate, and definitely non-Christian, but placing the "tool" that one feels will best assist them near them. And, letting it be, and sincerely asking the Lord that He heal them is wisest.


Now, although others hate it when their behaviors are forecasted, history, short-term and long, suggests that "money" will be placed in front of me, seeing if the author will give chase. A few spare "coins" will be tossed, in various places of opportunity.


Unfortunately, men, whom claim that they fully understand psychology, live among the sheep of Psalms 23. They will test Whom? This is the foolishness of many doctoral theses from this era and past.


If men spent, eons recording seemingly miraculous experiences, before the days of "holographic" concerts, projectors, stereo speakers and receivers, and measured the Sun reversing course, columns of fire at night, plus a river becoming blood. Does one need a curse of frogs in his master bedroom before he accepts that the Alpha, Omega and all that resides, within the pages of physical history, most of which is unknown and unrecorded, is real? Would one go that far in proving what he simply cannot accept? Simply accept something exists which you do not fully understand. Would you say this of "evil" behaviors? How many of those do you drink so deeply of?


What remains implicit in blasphemy, arising from human experiences other than disillusionment and other mildly mitigating factors, is one's false belief that sufficient knowledge and the power that one gains from deception, gives him a "god-like" status. In that, he desired His very position! Yet, answer this, can you fight satan on your own, if he arrived on your doorstep or slipped in through a seep in the insulation.


Many year's past, an acquaintance who called her friend the "god of this or that subject while in high-school", in the midst of this author's years of blasphemistic phrases, this is one title that he would not assume. Such countered the traditional teaching of her faith heritage. The only question that the author would ever respond with was, "Girl, have you LOST your mind?"


History records that the author has had the most challenges along this line. Yet, let us all pray, that the lessons acquired will result in fewer verbal blasphemies, and those arising from disrespectful action, and others which suggest the same.


If we all received what we deserve for your behaviors, negative or positive, we would have all merited the "penalty of death", based upon not observing a Sabbath; This is most certainly true.


Any, wealthy among us who worked "seven-day" weeks building profitable businesses?


Is your "comfortable" lifestyle your reward? Did you brake any local, state, or federal laws in the process of acquiring your wealth? Do you still violate such laws? What about the requirement of registering a "trademark" and incorporating, before conducting one's first transaction.


Such a statement is not directed at anyone or organization, in particular.


In terms, of "addiction", when defined as spending "time" that might best be used elsewhere, whether the activity is "acceptable" or "unacceptable", the author should divorce himself from this note-taking mechanism. That thought concern Ruth was so savory; the author enjoyed sharing it!


Got Nuts! How about almonds, pecans, walnuts, and so one. Although Castor and his twin rest on the bottom of the sea, it might be that one dream shalt be realize in time for this year's delayed frost.


We have never been promised the realization of life dreams, especially, the silliest ones. It those were fulfilled, life truly would be a Hell? Winning a fortune in the form of numerous gambling prizes, would have brought upon me a cascade of the silliest and most vile aspiration that this man's history holds.


For mine enemies first, those unknown, uncaring and indifferent next, friends, family, and He who loves me most, may your and Your future be a reservoir welling from a spring flowing with "infinite" blessings.
