Hopefully, this day has brought some blessed memories which will be long-lasting. For those who read the last note in this web history, it always seems, that the ones who are the most troubled and concerned about crucifying Christ afresh each day with willful and reckless sins, are those who are earnestly seeking how they might please His Father. And, the title of this note does not suggest that women or youth are excluded from being conscientious about being "their personal best for Him". It has long been common among English speakers that the terms, "he, him, man, and men", can be a gender neutral references describing one or more members of humankind. In more recent years, the efforts at eschewing the gender biases of past eras and evincing equality, have resulted in the usages of the phrases "he and she", "him and her", "men and women", and, the more unconventional, "they and them", so both genders receive equal acknowledgement, when discussing a gender-neutral topic. Yet, this is not about the English-language and its de jure or de facto rules of usage.
Remember, it is about those who always ascribe the condemnations in scriptures on the foreheads of others, and those who readily accept rebukes and their consequences, whether merited or not, It is readily apparent that those who frequently bear "the weight of blame" are the most spiritually-liberated and free from culpability. The most glaring example of this was Yeshua, our Ever-Present Helper. Consider His struggle and the plight placed upon Him, the rest of His birth community, plus the gentiles who joined them, by the Pharisees. Pharisaic injustice was present during the days of Christ; before those days as evident in the Psalm of the Crucifixion, Psalm 22, which chronicles one of the nearly innumerable executions of an innocent person in history; the completely irreverent, bazaar, and, yet somewhat historical fiction, in Franz Kafka's text, The Trial, written in the first half of the 1900s; plus, the numerous national, regional, and local news articles found in modern media outlets. And, before you label the writer of this text as a Christian heretic, blasphemer, or deceptive pagan-witch, "Yeshua" is simply an alternate spelling of "Jesus". His name was a common that many men during His era held. And, its literal translation is "helper", or, at least, this is what the has been told and has read in various sources. And, the author should add that this does not suggest that He is a "cosmic bellhop" for doing our personal bidding and granting our every "whimsical wish".
Now, revisiting the issue of the intrinsic "guilt-free" gut-feeling of those who are forever walking away from bold and willful sins, simply shirking the guilt and thereby entering a deeper abyss versus the nearly indelible "sting of conviction" felt by those who likely should not be bearing the burden of others mistakes, take heart. You, who care, take heart. You are in "Great Company"! You are healthy, both spiritually and, in the eyes and terminology of this "carnally-minded" world, psychologically. Your conscience is still intact.
You are seeking a path on a road which ends in prosperity. His Scriptures say that we will prosper, and we will have wealth. Yet, when you shed the highly "materially-oriented" focus of this modern world, one sees that wealth can be found when one possesses the qualities known as the Fruit of The Spirit. One might find these described in the numerous translations of Galatians 5:22-25 (KJV):
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance: against such there is no law. And, they, that are Christ's, have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."
For those who are not trained or have not studied Christianity. The Creator, called God the Father who has many differing titles in various languages among historical scriptures; His Holy Spirit, also known as the Holy Ghost' and His Son, who we believe lived a sin-free life among us and was conceived miraculously, when His earthly mother, who knew not a human man, was visited by the Holy Spirit, are a Triumvirate, a single God, occasionally called the Trinity.
Once one can accept that another cares enough that he will tote a burden which should be upon that the back of the former person, this individuals should sense some freedom from worry. When one considers that a man entered this chaotic, contorted, and crazy world over a thousand years ago and cared enough about future and past generations that he would willing experience a crucifixion fully knowing that this would be sufficient for canceling the cycle of frequently misplaced blame with its incredibly unjust circumstances and that process of sin, shame, and repeated offenses arising from unreleased guilt, this is provide a sufficient salve for the remission of sin. He came so He might cure the sickness of sin. Yet, most will not accept the medication. So, many perish physically and spiritually. So, if you have a nonchalant attitude and continue in sin, you err and make a mockery of His Sacrifice. If you carry burdens which should have never been yours, whether He has long since granted you Mercy and you have accepted the consequence which he deemed just, be them naught or of greater weight, or you are willingly or reluctantly paying another's sin debt, place it aside and let the Lord affix it on the shoulders of he who should carry it.
This whole note was so the author might share a note a YouTube web-link for one of his favorite Contemporary Christian songs. It is unfortunate, that among modern believers we must categorize music which praises God and shares the message of the Gospel. This arises, only because, many of us prefer a specific genres of music. And, historically, certain groups have primarily played and sang specific styles of music. The Christian message is consistent throughout the types of music. In fact, some songs are sang by artists in differing genres and sit in national radio station rotations, simultaneously. However, please enjoy this tune by the Sidewalk Prophets. Depending upon how one views his current circumstances, it might bring forth feelings of epiphany or elation. All of us, who are old enough and reasonably versed in scriptures, have all been "Judas' Kiss, in terms, of Christ, and, quite possibly another god-fearing brother or sister's life", yet, they have loved us, anyway.
With that said, believe and feel not that the author has completely escaped the bondages of sin. His life is not at the spiritual apex that it has seen in past years. But, as James Cleveland's song says, he has seen some Good Days.
Also, he is aware that many among are not Christians. Furthermore, many are not God-fearing, either feeling that existence is a cosmic coincidence or are of the leaning that they can control the destiny or fate of this universe, world, or the members of it through some type of binding incantations. In either case, this is entering the realm of witchcraft based upon the Christian standard. His Will is what we wisely pray shall be done. Many pagan groups are rising in this country. One never knows with whom they might be communicating or, possibly, closely fellowshipping. This might be in church congregations. His Sheep are often walking among wolves and completely unaware of the dangers. Sharing one's faith hoping that it will uplift other is wise. Yet, it can be a costly and painful experience.
The author has dealt with what one author chronicled in his book called, Every Man's Struggle. It describes the media machine of pornography and how it effects basically every life in the modern world in some degree. Many children, women, and men have had lives destroyed by it. Some have inherited this curse as a cultural legacy and have had participation forced upon them. Some eventually escape. Some perish in a world and a life that they would have not chosen for themselves. The author has been immensely blessed, in that, he was only on the fringes of the pornography machine in his hometown. He was nearly drawn in on a couple of occasions, as a child younger than ten.
This was not as a viewer, but as a participant. And, in an unfortunate experience which is more common than it should be these days in country, circumstances of mistreatment nearly made him a child "sexual" prostitute around the age of seven. This, the life of a child, who came from a well-privileged, middle-class community and a rather peaceful and stable home-life during his childhood and teenage years. His years were not spent in the most crime-ridden housing projects in this area.
This is not scornful commentary of those who lived in such environments. Many have faired much better than the author over the long-run. It is not where one starts, but where one finishes. It is not where one it at, but where one's heart and mind are. In fact, he had the pleasure of enjoying a revival led by a incredibly successful pastor, who hails from "one of the city's rougher housing projects" and now serves at a larger church in Texas.
Yet, the focus of this portion of the note is mentioning that many scenes produced in such evil media contain artwork with an occult theme. So, speaking against this evil machine, called pornography, can often solicit cursing by those who produce it and profit from it. Material wealth is all that they seek in this world, and they have marginalized their eternal existence for it. And, the young, who really do understand the short-term consequences of accepting a contract in a city where the monthly cost of the average, modest efficiency apartment lease exceeds fifty percent of their pay after taxes, often accept lures of contracts promising hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars over a certain number of years. When all is said and one, they are often a shell of the reasonably healthy young person who they were before this path started. Would the evil entity, which roams this world, as described by Christian scripture be honest enough that it would make an honest deal with anyone or be the least bit concern about another's well-being. Scriptures say that it comes so it might kill, steal, and destroy. It harasses and harms those who resist aligning themselves with it and will eventually destroy those who work alongside it.
Yet, take heart those who seek after those unique qualities which the God has imparted for those who seek after Him and bring forth harmonious living. The battle is the Lords, He who Created the Heaven and Earth, and not yours.
Please Pardon the Typos; This Was Hurriedly Written; Have A Week Filled With Blessing!
