Most are Right. That is Mostly Correct.

In retrospect, had I been adequately prepared and read the Scriptures thoroughly before entering Omaha Central as some of the youth had. I might have been a reasonable Divinity student at Vanderbilt. Obtaining a Masters in Divinity would have been a dream that my grandfather Abraham would have not durst dreamt or lived for fear of reprisal from the Whites within his rural Arkansas community. For him, the mere experience of walking the storied pathways of that campus among its statues of great European American heroes might have proven deadly. And, for me, it was nearly so. Yet, such is a long story.

Yet, life has taught that, although the "faithful" laity hold the Levitical priesthood in high esteem, seeing the debaucherous college lifestyle that most likely was part and parcel of all Vanderbilt students exuded by members of their School of Divinity would have been extremely disheartening. The clergy experience the same "normalcy" as all men. Albeit, Christ simply experienced the same temptations and yielded not.

And, it is those experiences in life that shape our understanding of what we see, hear, taste, smell, feel, intuitively sense, and feel through strong "Paulinesque" unctions. We are the some total of our sempiternal existence: every thought, dream, desire, meditation of the heart, choice driven by free will, and external stimuli, that which we "experience" in our own perspective of this world's reality.

Such drives and biases our understanding of what we comprehend when we communicate, either with an animate or inanimate object, including the Bible, His written Word. What was your first inclination of reasoning associated with the term Bible. Did you think of it as only a series of letters printed on paper and realize that in ways one should use healthy communication skills, like gesticulation, while reading any written work, plus, possibly, speak aloud in response. Like saying, "I have been thinking that for years, and you, the text, the author, one's life-driven understanding, or all of the above, just shed light on the very thought that I have ruminated upon since early childhood". Or, was your thought surely His Word liveth with an Omnipotence, Omnipresence, and Omniscience Eternal. Your view and the expansive thought which formed in the depths of your mind while reading those few term were predicated and punctuated by nearly three score years of God-given guidance and choices. And, whether one, at first glance, sees, accepts, and calls the Bible a book or God's Immutable Word. Should we condemn, strive against, or despise our brother for having a unique and different perspective. In all things, should not there be His Love. If, we accept that another man's plate of flesh or vegetables does not offend us. Should we curse or condemn him over his "instantaneous" viewpoint. Or, are these the words, ramblings, and babblings of an "educated fool" in a world where most men seek and respect those with letters and question not their medical physicians but praise, respect, and revere his opinion. Why might such a term be used? Might it be the nature of humanity and all that besets us, envy, strife, backbiting, and the rest.

I had an interesting experience this morning. I awoke, used the water closet, and glanced at my digital clock. It was roughly half before three. I fell asleep and dreamt for what felt like four or five hours. Then, nature called again. I laid awake thinking for what seemed like nearly a few hours. Then, I glanced at the clock thinking that it was roughly five in the morning. It was five minutes before half after three.

When escaping the nightmare of pornography and the purgatory this world becomes when imbibing in it, I experienced some very long, dark, and frightening night sequences while "fully" conscious. Instead of looking at the abundant filth that might be found on this public communication medium and autofornicating, I decided that I would read Scripture.

This is the brief "passage" which I read. Proverbs 24: 1 - 4 (NIV). I read over it, thought upon it, roiled it over and over in my mind, and then let a few thoughts congeal. And, it seems that I could interpret or see different abstractions and various viewpoints.

[Pro 24:1-4 KJV] 1 Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them. 2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief. 3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: 4 And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.

What does "an house" represent in the second verse? Is it one's church, familial home, the structure of one's career, educational, or life's goals. Is it as abstract as a Godly desire or longing. What might it be? How might this passage speak when you read over it. What has been on your mind or heart lately.

A young newlywed might see it "literally" as the threshold that he carried his giddy, blushing bride over. Joe Biden might see it as an presidential administration. Both of these interpret this passage as discussing a physical "brick and mortar" structure. Yet, the "building" discussed might certainly be as abstract as one's walk of faith and the relationship which one has with his Lord and Liege. And, it is often said that faith is not mere "literary analysis"; however, the identifying and understanding of symbols, images, common themes, and other "literary" aspects is all part of reading comprehension. And, the depth of one's comprehension is in proportion with the level of understanding that one attains. It is not a matter of natural intelligence or "gifting"; it is driven by what one desires.

Life has shown that those who are deemed cognitively-impaired have miraculous insights showing a depth of understanding that others simply cannot perceive. The lettered psychologist, psychiatrist, or speech therapist might certify someone as incorrigible, incapable of learning, or grossly-impaired based upon measured and well-respected scientific scales. And, furthermore, these professionals might foment the foulness of the dysfunction for self-seeking career goals. Such, this life's experiential perspectives proclaim, are educated fools.

Yet, that is the true measure of "fooldom". What does one do with the God-given gifts which he has. Does he edify His Children or destroy?

However, the true topic of discussion was semantics and one's perspective on scripture. It is not a matter of right or wrong when one seeks a Godly, edifying understanding. And, all this gives place for the wolves among the sheep and the divisive who enter churches, those who are true enemies of God, but it will be said. "More than one understanding might be a valid or Godly interpretation; but, such must be balanced with the 'entirety' of Scripture and the Spirit of its Law." Which permeates both Testaments as spoken by the Messiah in Matthew 5, verse 17 - 20.

It is possible that more than one of us might be correct when discussing Scripture. If and when, we take the time and seek edifying nourishment, whether on our own or in groups.

The Consequences of Sin

It is oft said that confession is great for the soul; however, it be quite bad for the reputation. For the author, life has seen some very beautiful years blessed with a solid faith-walk on that path travelled by few which ends in a eternal peace. Yet, it has also seen a decline and a redirection that has placed him squarely in the midst of that throng that is headed for eternal damnation.

The early-teens, 2011 - 2013, saw a period of personal miracles. These include speaking His Word as a member of the laity and seeing others overcome. This experience was somewhat "unsettling and unnerving". Although, it should not have been.

And, as the world around him, grew envious and hateful of his relationship with the Father. It desired proving that he was so irreparably flawed and that the Lord could and would never use him. And, those who knew his weaknesses tempted him incessantly until he fell in 2014.

And, during the past twenty-four months, he has not been a regular attender of church services nor has he read diligently each day. Which was the norm between 1998 - 2015. And, the consequence was this. Upon attending a recent service in person, he grew rather drowsy. This was rather uncommon during the time of his greatest faithfulness. And, he could not focus on the lesson that was coming from the pulpit. We all know that His Word is good medicine. It is all that we need for sustaining ourselves physical, emotionally, and spiritually. And, with one's mind full of the devil and the confusion that imparts, enjoying a church service can be quite difficult.

So, if you have been away from services for a while or have never attended, and then visit a church, and find that you cannot quite focus on the message from the pulpit and lessons in scripture. Keep trying. You are like a dying man gasping for fresh air.

Eventually, the spiritual fog in one's mind will lift and your relationship with the Lord will improve. And, hopefully, we can all find freedom from sin. For Christ said, "Be ye perfect as your Father in Heaven." He would have not given that commandment for us if be not attainable.

Common-Sense Tips In One's Finances and Health

True Wisdom cometh, when one be “in-tune” with the Lord. So, doth it be the case, that wise financial decisions follow it, like His Mercy follows His Grace.

First and farmost among these wise principles is “do not follow the masses; the throng, horde, and press, of the unholy masses. The path which results in destruction is wide and travelled by many.

This includes, in one’s financial and health decisions.

Case in point, during the past pandemic, the television said, “there is a “expected” shortage on that staple, ‘personal hygienic tissue paper’ by maker’s such as Charmin, Cottonelle, Quilted Northern, and Angel Soft.” So, everyone rushed out and purchased as much as they could. And, panic produces dollars saith the politician’s corporate lobbyists. But, wisdom given this gentleman by the Lord is this and this alone, “a small towel, water, and soap availeth much.”

And, a small stack of ‘cotton’ hand towels one might purchase at the Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, WalMart, Target, or other discounter for under ‘five’ dollars.

These are lasting much like children’s ‘classic’ Huggies.

Also, a lesson learnt, while a teenager, that ‘helps’ address common cold and flu symptoms is this “keeping one’s oral cavity clean is quite wise.” Brush after every meal. This reduces the amount of bacterial growth in one’s esophagus which is the pathway between one’s nasal passages and lungs. Using a peroxide and soda-based toothpaste is wise; however, one might obtain a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and box of baking soda for under three dollars. Plenty of fluoride is in the water supply. It is added by the local water authority. But, most importantly, change one’s toothbrush once per day, when the fever is intense, and once per week, when it breaks. If necessary, discard your toothbrush after every use, when treating an intense infection of the oral cavity whether “viral” or “bacterial”.

Regularly reducing the population of bacteria found in one’s mouth while experiencing an intense viral infection lightens the weight of the work-burden placed upon one’s immune system. So, the body might heal itself.

The role of medicine is helping the body heal itself; not necessarily, at all times, doing its job for it.

And, an occasional rinse of a weak peroxide solution might help keep one’s teeth in “fine condition”. That would be approximately one ounce of this liquid in eight ounces of water. Rinse, gargle, and repeat until the cup is empty. And, this a wonderful solution for “polishing” and “gradually” whitening one’s teeth with a brush over time.

Following the crowd’s mentality as driven by media sources, is “ever-so” unwise.

One should buy when others save and save when others buy. One most look beyond the surface of what our world’s media is saying and seek guidance from Him.

General Health Advice - Based Upon Spiritual Common-Sense

General health advice for longevity from someone with the education of a “simple” country doctor.

·       Walk a country-mile per day.

·       Eat an apple per day. That, an ample portion of bread, and a tall glass of water maketh a "wholesome" meal.

·       Live frugally. This shall reduce stress. An "old" used Honda, Toyota, or Ford is a mine of diamonds and gold.

o   Such might help one find an early escape from the nightmare of "long” arduous hours at a workstation, in a cubicle, or other vocational location for the typical “forty-five” year career path.

o   It might allow financial independence with the ample pay scales in many modern professional and paraprofessional roles plus the path of journeyman carpenters, masons, and other tradesmen.

o   And, this dream might be found in one’s late-thirties and permit enjoying a “second” career.

o   The modern “African-Americans” calleth certain consumer items a "whip" for a reason. They will keep one working for the entirety of his life like a slave for a relentless task master, as a result of owning one of them.

·       We, faithful believers, are often praying that we might get the "worm" out of our finances. In some cases, the 'abundance of finances' are the “annelidan”.

·       On occasion, we might have so much that it adversely effects our health and quality of life. Porterhouse steaks, unctuous "au gratin" potatoes, and intoxicating beverages, all of which, are a wicked indulgence, based upon scripture, are not for the "spiritually-wealthy" but for the "sinful" and "poor in spirit".

·       Do you know where these principles are found in scripture?

·       Search Leviticus and Proverbs.

·       Plus, modest living permits one providing an inheritance for one's children's children. Which is all that the Lord asks from a "truly" faithful man.

·       True "wealth" is Liberty in Christ. Which is described in 2 Peter 2. That is the second chapter of the second book written by the apostle Peter. Liberty in Christ is not a "license" for sin, as some falsely believe, and is "preached" from certain American pulpits, by the “red-letter” words of Christ in the Sermon on the Mount.

·       Such is "spiritual" bondage and a misinterpretation of the third chapter of Romans, written by Saul of Tarsus; whom the Lord gave a new name. When, he saw a flash of light that no other man saw. And, had a “solitary” conversation with the Lord. Yet, such must be "true" madness. As, modern physicians deem.

·       And, the notion that every abominable act is covered by Christ’s Blood is a "false" prophetic message for which modern ears itch. As, 2 Peter 2 also shares and is found near the end of Romans 3. “And, yea, we establish the Law”.

·       Furthermore, this "misinterpretation of Scripture" insults His Love for you. He is not the “doormat” of a “selfish-minded” mate in this relationship modelled after that of a matrimony.

·       If, there be not consequences for sin; why be there American jails, prisons, and forensic psychiatric wards.

·       When resolving our understanding of His Word; it is those "red letter words" that carry the most weight. These give their “greatest” insights on how those who claim that they are Christians should live.

·       I would suggest that the entirety of your behaviors, at all times, be “in-line” with those required by Scripture. In terms of mental hygiene, this truly should be the "standards" set forth by the modern behavioral health professional. "For, a 'rod' as long as that of 'modern statistical normality' 'spoileth' His children." He has ‘higher’ standards for us.

A Perspective Upon Truth

In summary of a few scriptures, it is said that, when a few of His Children touch and agree in effectual prayer, His Omnipotent Might shall be shown. Might we pray for peace. In doing so, might we wage peace and war not. Matthew 5 – 7 (KJV), a passage, that contains the most efficacious sermon ever spoken promises this, the meek, shall inherit the earth, and the peacemakers, are the children of God. And, for some, these words are considered spoken by The Infallible. For others, they are the words of a Good Teacher. In particular, a snippet of verses from this, His Sermon on The Mount, are often misinterpreted by many modern teachers of scripture. For one, in the time of the Messiah’s First Coming, many ills plagued this world. Consider Lot’s community which predated the period of His Birth, His Death, and His Resurrection. And, as we shall always have the poor among us, as Christ taught, we shall always have the equivalent of Sadducees and Pharisees. And, these modern Pharisees, as those of old, whom Yeshua called, hypocrites, a brood of vipers, and white-washed sepulchers, gloss over His Words spoken in Matthew 5 : 17 – 20 (KJV). This singular set of verses in Matthew promise us this and only this in summary, we shall not enter His Kingdom if we exude the behaviors of the Pharisaic priest, who hypocritically placed load-some burdens upon men which they themselves would not carry and that Christ was come so He might fulfill the Law and not so It might be abolished. This singular teaching should unite in harmony, a large collective of the faithful throng of God-fearing believers among the Hebrews, Christians, and Islamists. Yet, in misrepresenting scriptural teachings, it is taught that “it is by faith alone…”. Yet, diligent, meticulous, and careful study of Romans 1 – 3 provides us with these lessons; the sexual sins, that were seen in Sodom and Gomorrah and are also present this day, arise for a specific reason and that the teaching stating “true salvation only requires a faith devoid of works” was given in the context of a debate on whether adult Gentile converts, could enter His Fold of Eschine (His Sheep) sans circumcision. This discussion was started near the end of the second chapter of Romans and continues throughout the third. Which ends in the phrase, “And, yea, we establish The Law.” So, it is quite important that His Christian Children be truly Law-Abiding. This is further supported in His Word by Christ’s brothers, James and Jude. Take the time as read this partitioning of scripture. Does it provide greater consistency and reduce spiritual dissonance. And, as 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) says, in summary, “we should be workman unashamed rightly dividing the Word of Truth”. And, as many whom read and study carefully will justly tell anyone, His Word states this also, in paraphrase, “Let not any man be your teacher but let the Master be your guide.” So, please read and study for yourself. The original books of His Word were written without any chapter or verse subdivisions. Try reading them that way and see, if you attain, a greater insight. And, a quality secondary education, a contrite heart, and sincerity is all that one needs for understanding His Word.

In this modern world of our Christian community, we are not much like the Berean of old who would debate scripture. For the messages shared in the typical modern-day church of this untoward generation is not a subject of debate. Why? Sheep blindly follow who call them. And, sadly many adults do not realize that with the type of education available in this century, unlike the time of Christ, when most men were illiterate, not stupid, simply not formally educated, someone must interpret scriptures for them. And, in the instance of the Ethiopian eunuch, an explanation of the cultural context surrounding the scriptures would help him gain a deeper understanding and insight. And, sadly, most students produced in this modern system of education are lazy, and they simply hope that someone hands them answer. Yet, as stated, He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Yet, in this wicked and perverse generation where governments of this world provide a communication medium upon which blasphemous abominations appear more so than words and images of Truth, many men are still seeking the original Truth in His Word, and such are called Hunafaa, whether Hebrew, Christian, or Islamist. Such men were deemed a “threat” by a former American president. And, as such a war was launched, against a Islamists militia who reportedly were destroying the teachings in old libraries and book repositories through the Middle East. Is such the teachings of true Islam. A follower of Christ is interested in knowing. His Sunni friend said that it not. So, as they have done in centuries passed, men were burying these records in the earth, much like the Dead Sea Scrolls. And, as Christ prophesied in scripture, as a sign of the Eschaton, the descendants of the men with whom he spoke would be hiding in caves in the Holy Land praying rocks fall on us. As the evening news in years passed has reported, such is an current occurrence among the those who strive near Palestine. Truth be told, we should all be Hunafaa, non-militant seekers of His Truth. And, it is said, in summary, that those apart from the Law are a Law for themselves. It is not the case that men born as Hindi, Buddhists, Taoist, or other modern Gentile groups, define their own set of rules. They have behaviors consistent His Law. And, as Christ said, a time will come when He will meet with those who claim that they have done many great works in His name, and he will say, “away from Me ye evil-doers.” And, and He will tell others enter My Rest, who will in response say, “We knew not Christ.” And, He will commend them saying, ”When, I was naked ye clothed me, when I was hungry ye fed me, when I was in prison ye visited me.” So, works of faith are quite potent. And, as Christ taught, we should have mercy and judge not lest we be judged by the same measure. For the measure, ye mete out shall be the rod that ye be measured by in future days. Consider those teachings in the context of the Pauline epistle called Romans. They are consistent and reconcilable. And, the yeast of the Pharisee spoken of by Christ be this, in my opinion, the “abuse” of the merciful relaxation of His Law so the Spirit of His Law be maintained. In closing, let us pray for peace, that His Will be done upon this earth, and the wise among our earthly government officials take their weapons of warfare and make pruninghooks and plowshares from them. It is time for His Peace, Abundance, and Harvest upon this Earth. It is long overdue.  We a blinded and deaf generation were promised this great gift, “if we humble ourselves and pray, He will unstop our deaf ears, open our blinded eyes, and heal this land.” Might His True Word go forth and reach the corners of this world in the establishment of His Kingdom and might His enemies be vanquished, on this might our hearts touch and agree across the spans and reach of this communication medium.

Regifted

Many Blessings. Might the Lord Jehovah reign and His Beautiful Spirit flood your lives with an abundance of peace, joy, and contentment. He is the El-Shaddai of the widow who gave her mite in the might of her adoration. He is the Lover of our souls. Will you love him back with a simple unfailing agape love? Will you love Him like Hannah, a Old Testament foreshadowing of Christ's mother. Who sought so that her barren womb be opened that she promised the Lord her son, if he would give her one. And, that he did. She experienced nine months of pregnancy, labor, and the toils of caring for an infant until he was weaned before she physically gave the priest Eli her son for service in the temple and in His Kingdom.

For those of you who have foolishly prayed for a multi-million dollar lottery windfall, would you hand your congregation's shepherd the gambling purse? Truth be told, wealth obtained through sinful means such as casting lots, which is witchcraft, prostitution, deception and theft, or etcetera should not be a offering the one gives the Lord. Doing so, only promotes sin. Which counters the purpose of financially supporting His Kingdom.

But, could you pray for blessing that would bring struggle, pain, and hard work in the process of its realization and, then, simply give is back. Do you so dearly desire holding any this life's gifts for just a brief moment that you would experience such travail and back-gift it.

Samuel was a "special" regifting in the Old Testament. Could you take what the Lord has given you in terms of talent and use it for the growth of His Kingdom. Although, you might not flourish monetarily and road trod might be rough and stony. And, although reward might not come in this lifetime.

Hannah was quite a "special" Old Testament mother. Who loved her son so that she would place him in the Lord's Courts for service in His Kingdom at a young age.

Urban Monasticism

In this era, we consider a monastic one who lives in a monastery among similar folk. Yet, a monastic is simply one who life a secluded, dedicated, and austere. It is that case that early monastics decided that they would live in "shared" communities. These provided "strength" in numbers and a level of protection that solitary life did not. Consider,

[Heb 11:37-40 KJV] 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and [in] mountains, and [in] dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

[Heb 12:1-3 KJV] 1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

The "austere" life is rare in the modern developed world of which this author is part. We live in a Romanesque world of decadence. It so prevalent and common, the youth are reared seeing its sinfulness as appropriate.

During regular visits with a former physician at a local medical clinic, One World, one of the nurses would often say, "Just, tell him how you are, Sam." Dr. Belk often showed signs of a gross disdain for the writer of this web history who comfortably and openly expresses his faith and encourages others in their life's spiritual walk. Dr. Belk then stated [pediatricians in this generation recommend that most children as young as eight have regular test for sexually transmitted diseases during annual physicals. He said that sexually activity is rather common among young adolescents and preteens.] And, it became apparent that he had likely lived the life of a typical teenager and could not tolerable this author's lifestyle or upbringing.

Yet, a "self-disciplined" community is necessarily the composition of "temperate" subunits: churches, families, and individuals. Whether this temperance is manifested through financial frugality, "intent" listening coupled with "well-measured" speech, an absence of coarse joking, disciplined dietary habits, or piety, it is an essential part of a healthy community.

The toll of lasciviousness, sinful intoxication, drunkenness, and debauchery are so high in this American community that it is immeasurable. Many do not realize that the tangible ailments that plague us are a direct function of our sinfulness.

Textbook social work philosophy states that [saving one from the natural consequences of his own actions is the most cruel and uncaring thing that one might do],

Scripture states it this way,

[Rev 3:19-20 KJV] 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

[Heb 12:5-9 KJV] 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave [them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

Yet, we repent not.

The word repent as described in older college dictionaries is derived from the French military term "repentir". When such a command was given, the troops would make a 180-degree turn.

When will this community turn from its sin and the persecution of those who do? Likely, never. This nation probably will fall like all of those before it, collapsing under the weight of it avarice, hatred, haughtiness, and vileness, and Sodom and Gomorrah did.

Acts of buggery, sodomy, and beastiality are unnaturally common in this American community. And, such are simply deemed an individual's lifestyle choice albeit local, state, and federal laws prohibit such. But, of this, few American speak openly. So, for an urban monastic, staying sin-free is quite difficult. Sin is a disease. And, such is contagious. One cannot insulate himself from contacting such sin in this modern era. It would seem that in a "healthy" community acts of homosexuality would be practically non-existent as they are in Theocratic countries like Iran where Old Testament Law is truly valued. Reading in the social sciences have shown that one in four American men have had a consensual sexual relationship with another man. And, the rates for homosexual behavior is higher in American women.

As Christ said during His Sermon on the Mount,

[Mat 5:17-20 KJV] 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Modern Christian countries could definitely learn something from the "discipline" imposed in the Islamic world.

The rampant spread of sexual dysfunction mostly is the result of barbaric child rearing.

[1Co 2:12-16 KJV] 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Plus, it arises from a lackadaisical spiritual walk, Modern men simply spend very little time in contemplation and devotion.

[Rom 1:18-32 KJV] 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed [it] unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Sadly, a modern monastic does not see the same protection under the law as the GQBLT community. In this modern-era, it is said that what one does with one's own body is one's own business.

Yet, this modern monastic is suffering from a horrible behavioral dysfunction from which he had recovered for more than a decade after being placed in a hospital setting. His "condition" was discovered after he experienced a "nightly emission" in that setting. Interestingly enough, one of the staff members documented that he must have "sexual" problem. Such an experience is deemed "unhealthy" for an adult male by modern medical professionals. If fact, a physical was forced upon him and he was checked for a "hernia". Interestingly enough, the physician did not palpitate his stomach. This has always puzzled him. If a "hernia" is a tear in the abdominal muscles, why would a physician feel a man's scrotum when checking for such a malady, often called a "groin pull". At the age of ten, when the young author questioned his pediatrician about this, he received a strange glance. And, he was told that he had dry skin on his glandus and he should take a handful of lotion and apply it everyday. Is such pediatric care or child molestation?

Based upon the analysis of Dr. Belk and his "normal" childhood development, the author was "slow". Ironically, he was quite "quick" with the books and merited a Stanford acceptance letter plus other academic accolades within this lifetime.

Yet, after this discovery of supposed "dysfunction", he was subsequently given medications which he later learnt where Viagra and Cialis. After his phallus which had been rather peacefully flacid for the bulk of a decade became uncommonly large and hardened, the nurse staff would walk by and ask, "Are you comfortable?"

Was this "sincere" medical help? A medical bills was sent and covered by sources of insurance.

And, much like the Pharisees of old, many of theses doctors and physicians who felt such was appropriate behavior, attend local churches. In fact, some of this "special" treatment occurred in a hospital called Immanuel. Which might be more aptly named Baal's Village.

Life for the urban monastic is not easy.

And, a just and Godly lifestyle is not deemed appropriate. In a country with a long history of racial segregation and hatred, certain men must allows live "well-below" others. For some Americans, feelings of "inferiority" in behavior is acceptable when the one with "superior" behavior is in his group. Then, he can say, "We can live by a high standard." And, he can see the other person as a role model. When the one with "superior" behavior is a member of a despised racial or ethnic group, it is a different story. Why? Nothing is considered lower than than a "non-human" nigger or other hated personage.

As an African descendant in the Americas, many have asked this author if he gambles, imbibes, or uses other intoxicants. One European actually was audacious enough that he proclaimed, "I have never met a nigger that did not smoke marijuana" when he asked if the author could supply him with some. This author simply ignored him and departed. He felt like saying, "Who said I was a nigger?"

Living the Dream...Good Times

What are "good" times? What is the "good" life? In the author's opinion, it is being His Hands and Feet. Life as part of the Body of Christ is more rewarding and offers more precious memories than "living a little" as the carnally-minded say. The author hopes that he can share one fond memory of "good" times and living while in church. Although, it is said that one's left hand should not know what one's right hand is doing, it is a fond memory of alms-giving.

While attending a small "storefront" church, a young woman came in with a couple of children. She sat in the pew with her children and looked like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. When the floor was opened for testimonies, she stated her concern. It was financial. She was between jobs had a utility bill which must be paid and needed groceries. She did not openly ask for money. She asked for prayer that she might find a job. While she made her supplication, the collection plate was passed. The collection was not for her, but it was for the church. When the plate reached her children, one asked the other, "Did you bring the money?" And, the author saw them place a few pennies in it. And, one said, "I prayed. I know this will work!"

The author was touched by his faith.

[Luk 17:6 KJV] 6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

The author had some cash in my wallet. Which he usually does not carry, but he was planning on some grocery shopping himself. So, he shared it with the young family. Simply, being His Right Hand.

In this lifetime, this author has made it rain in the club, like a "fool" living a little.

[Eph 5:5 KJV] 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

How can one make a silk purse from a sow's ear.

[Mat 19:26 KJV] 26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

[Mar 10:27 KJV] 27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men [it is] impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

[Luk 18:27 KJV] 27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

And, he did not just fall off of the turnip truck when it entered town around noon. He is fully aware that this young woman might have been a grifter who trained her children in that art at an early age. Some families do such things, although they have plenty of wealth. For some, it is never enough.

But, the author sowed a seed and let the Lord handle the Justice.

Good Memories and Good Times are not formed from hangovers.

After living a little in his twenties, he discovered that he was truly living before he started "living a little". In fact, such riotous living was only death in small draughts.

When in Rome...

Might the Lord bless and keep you, delivering you from all forms of wickedness and vile behavior. Part of the author's liberation from sin was derived from experiences with a couple of Hebrews, one modern and the other ancient. And, each of these Hebrews expressed an enlightened view of New Testament scripture.

The first, a dear classmate from fifth grade, asked this, "Why do Christian not follow the Law more closely?" She said that her mother had read the Old and New Testament with her and explained why Hebrews felt that Christ was not the Messiah. Her primary evidence for this was Matthew 5:17-20 (KJV) from the Sermon on the Mount:

Her question for the author was, if Christians truly believed in Christ and loved Him, why will they not do what He says. Why do they feel that they need not be law-abiding based upon the Old Testament.

The "best" answer that one could have given her at the time is found in Romans 3.

[Rom 3:3-4 KJV] 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

And in this passage also is the verse that many Christian whose ears itch for the "permissive", "law-breaking" gospel of scripture cite and take out of context. Yet, such is a perversion of the Gospel.

[Rom 3:28 KJV] 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Yet, this "relaxation" of statutes was given concerning one difficult and somewhat impractical statute for adult male believers. That is the law of circumcision.

It is the case that roughly thirty verses earlier one can find the topic and context for this "relaxation".

[Rom 2:25-29 KJV] 25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. 26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither [is that] circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not of men, but of God.

[Rom 3:2-4 KJV] 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. 3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

These verses set-up the context for Romans 3:28. The topic of discourse in which it is given is "whether adult male Gentiles should be circumcised before acceptance in the fold." And, an implied conclusion which one can draw from Romans 3 is that an Old Testament Law should only be "relaxed" if and only if it permits greater adherence in other areas. Second Romans also provides verse which support this conclusion.

Yet, as Christ said in paraphrase, we must follow His Law if we seek an Eternity of Peace.

He also told his followers,[Mat 5:48 KJV] 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect., nearly in the same breathe as Matthew 5:17-20.

And, Paul also wrote:

[1Co 10:13 KJV] 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

And Christ said,  concerning the burden of temptation versus taking up one's cross,

[Mat 11:28-30 KJV] 28 Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.

A life free of sin is more pleasant, beautiful, and enjoyable than one rife with it. Sin is suffering. Years past have provided this author with a chaste urban monastic lifestyle for well over a decade. It was quite wonderful until he started espousing the benefit and joys of it. Some others rejected him and his lifestyle more so than it rejects the modern GQBLT community of which many Americans are members. And, on an occasion while spending time in a hospital, called Immanuel Medical Center of all names, nursing staff continually gave him erectile dysfunction medications asking if he were comfortable. This occurred after he experienced something all unmarried adult men periodically should while hospitalized, a nightly emission. The spiritually immature and outright wicked among us feel that such is laughable and a sign of childishness.

And, although the Lord's Word is quite true, the author "fell" and entered a life of fornication again.

As Paul states,

[Eph 5:3-7 KJV] 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. [Reconcile this with Paul's writings in Romans 3:28 KJV. This partially is why he stated what he did in Romans 3:31 KJV.] His Law is Eternal as is Christ Blood and Suffering. Neither should be taken lightly.

With this said, the author understands the consequences of sin. And, he fully trust that unless he overcome this fornication addiction, which is partially driven by his only life's addiction, pornography, he will not hear, "well-done good a faithful servant". Yet, it is comforting knowing that we serve a just God who will not tolerate the wickedness of sin and has prepared a place for those who accept His offering for the remission of sin. This remission can be a livelong cessation if one diligently seeks Him. Scripture states that He is a rewarder of such.

[Heb 11:6 KJV] 6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

What are you seeking this day? Carnal wealth, fame, sexual pleasure, pain-numbing narcotics. or some other of this life's poisons. Let the author suggest that you try El-Shaddai. His Love and Mercy will meet your life's needs.

Angelic Messengers

Although as adults, we believe that we are much wiser and smart than children; yet, it is from the "mouth of babes" that "He ordains His praise".

Psalm 8:2 From the mouths of children and infants You have ordained praise on account of Your adversaries, to silence the enemy and avenger.

Many adults will chasten a child when he speaks with wisdom beyond his years, yet this might be the Lord speaking through him by a mechanism of an angelic spirit. As Paul told Timothy, do not let anyone despise you on account of your youth. Many children's hearts have been broken plus they have felt unloved and unwanted by a parent, when they simply hoped that they might help a mother or father whom they truly love resolve a problem. And, that parent praying for an answer from the Lord despises it when it comes from the "gift" which He gave her or him. They often say "Don't you know that I am grown and can solve my own problems!' And, they might strike the child or punish him, when he was only following his heart and speaking the answer which came from the Lord. Would one be furious at his or her child if he came in from playing one day with the winning ticket for a billion dollar lottery which he found discarded on the street? Most feel that such wealth would solve one's life's problems. Yet, it will not. Trust me such is true. Especially, when you despise the bounty that the Lord has already given you.

But, when one despises these gifts, such as sobriety, chastity, children, provision, peace, and etc., that the Lord has granted him, he insults and infuriates the Lord. Why would and how could he expect anything else from his Master?

Some lessons the  Lord desires that we learn. These messages must be spoken, For one, He told Moses that he could raise up His children from stones; the Israelites need not feel so "special". He will accept who is available and willing. For the harvest is plentiful and the cadre of sincere laborers is few.

During the mid-1990s, while speaking with an uncle, I shared a simple teaching. The exact quote is not remembered. This while I was in the world and not in church. Yet, He can make the rocks and those of us with "rocks" in his head cry out! That lesson, in paraphrase, was this, "people must do what they should do. It is not always easy or fun, but it is 'best' for everyone."  While visiting Northern California during 2013 or 2014, I was walking near the Sunnyvale library. I visited it nearly every day, and I heard a young female who looked like a kindergartener walking with her father speak the identical words. It was exactly the same message, word for word. That angel is travelling the Earth spreading that message through any receptive heart which will accept it and share it. It might come from a child or adult. Yet, that simple message Jehovah has had His messengers spreading since the beginning of the ages. Such a message was taught by the Hebrew prophets of old, Jesus the Christ (Matthew 5:17-20), Muhammed who learnt the art of reading by studying the Old and New Testament, and Oriental "philosophers". The Lord our Creator loves us all. He has already spread his teaching throughout the world via his angelic messengers. Yet, we have heard the teachings through the filter of different languages and cultural experiences. Consider this lesson given by Lao Tzu,

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”

― Lao Tzu

It is often quoted by Pastor Ruddy on Sirius XM satellite radio. Could a Christian and practitioner of Eastern philosophy find common ground? The Magi came from the Orient and they worship the Bright and Morning Star and the New and Coming King, He had been prophesied among those in their lands. Yet, the descendants of those Magi, if they were not celibates, might not this day call themselves a Christian. They might be Buddhists, Daoist, or Confucist.

[Rom 2:12-16, 25-29 KJV] 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. ... 25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

Heaven is the great "white" city, not a city only for Whites or any other particular grouping of humankind. He accepts a contrite heart and broken spirits. Such can be found throughout this world in any vessel, whether Hindu, Christian (Catholic or Protestant), Islamist, Hebrew, Daoist, Buddhist, Confuscist, or one of His children that might be living among an undiscovered tribe in one of the remaining remote areas of this world. As Donald Lawrence said, one need not worry when he is holy and righteous.

We are building the Kingdom of God. Christ said that it is within us and among us. Paul taught that we should drive the divisive out of a fellowship. Should we not drive those who seek division among the brotherhood of mankind. We must wage peace and not war. There might be wars and rumors of wars. But, the Lord did not say that such must occur concurrently. Our ears accept that seeing that such is the case at this time in history. We could have a long period of relative peace, if we can accept that we are one large family. If we can tolerate one another, we must establish healthy boundaries while we live in close quarters with each other. The world is a small place and getting smaller each day with the nature of global communication. And, we might find that we can love one another, although we have been taught that another in a different group should be hated or killed. That man might become a brother beloved. Yet, the devise who profit from warfare and discord divide His Children.

I noticed that as I started writing this passage the sun became so brilliant. He smiles on me at time. I know not why? But, for me such a moment with the Lord is more valuable than the proceeds from many lotteries.
